Lightness and ease in the bathroom - the System 800 sanitary accessories and accessible products stand for precisely this. Large harmonic radii and clear lines provide its unmistakeable design. In combination with the chrome and white surfaces, the sanitary accessories provide stylistic accentuation - and not only in the private bathroom.
The different elements of System 800 are optionally available with inserts made from plastic or satin-finish glass.
The products were developed together with Phoenix Design Stuttgart/Tokyo. Designers Andreas Haug and Tom Schönherr explain:
"Our design concept for System 800 is based on the idea of universal design. That is to say, we design convenient, durable and aesthetic products for people in different living spaces. The clarity of the design should relate to the architecture and please those who use it. We are convinced that System 800 maintains a perfect balance between shape, function and emotion and in this sense will survive longer than short-lived trends."
System 800 has already received three awards: the IF product design award 2010, the universal design consumer favorite 2010 and the IFA Usability Park 2010 public prize. In addition, System 800 has been nominated for the highest official German design award, the design prize of the Federal Republic of Germany.
